The vision of Hope Community Church is to Reach the Triangle, Change the World. Our High School Ministry (HSM) hopes to make this vision a reality for the 150,000 high school students who live in the Triangle. This vision can only be accomplished if we love students where they are and encourage them to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

We understand that spiritual growth is a lifelong journey, rooted in God's pursuit of us, and we are all at different places on our spiritual journey. Loving students where they are means creating environments that connect then with healthy adult leaders, answer the questions they're asking, and give them clear "next steps" to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

What do we do to make this happen?

Weekend Gatherings happen every Sunday from 12:30pm-2:30pm at all campuses.

Weekday Small Groups happen on various days at various times across the Triangle.

Extra events are planned throughout the year and include camps, retreats, and other times to make new friends, connect with people you know, and grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ.

What's our ultimate goal?

We want to see students experience the ridiculously amazing life God dreams for them. We believe they'll start to:

  1. Live obediently by knowing Jesus and His Word and remaining in Him.
  2. Serve selflessly by using our gifts, talents, and resources for those in need.
  3. Connect intentionally with others in community.
  4. Give generously to God who gave us everything.
  5. Share willingly about the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

When we see students living this way, we know they're growing in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
